Speaking of music recommendations ..There is a band I love and they aren't Irish! Their gigs remind me of early Frames gigs, as far as the energy in the room and the singers personality and that feeling like these guys should be HUGE but they're not, yet, so how special is this to be here in this intimate venue with them? They're called Dandelion Wine. When I first heard them I was on my way to Rockwood Music Hall to see someone playing at 9pm.. Just for the he'll of it I clicked on the link for the 8pm act and it brought me to Dandelion Wine's myspace page. Whoa! I had to hear them in person! I rushed downtown as fast as I could to be at their set. And until this whole stroke / hypoxic brain injury happened, I never missed one of their gigs!

Www.myspace.com/dandelionwine1 is their page. Danny the singer is from Iowa , Nathan the cellist is from Colorado and Tom the guitar player is from long island, NY. Danny also writes a great blog, called Fairytalesforthefafherless.com
