hi all. couple of things - firstly, press release for the new years eve gig in dublin...
THE FRAMES
PRESS RELEASE FOR NEW YEARS EVE 2000
RDS MAIN HALL
The Frames play the RDS Main Hall on New Years Eve.
Joining them across 2 stages will be 6 other top drawer Irish acts - David Kitt, BellX1, Relish, Gemma Hayes, Revelino, and Mic Christopher - and - after The Frames come off stage the ‘Family’ DJ’s will be playing some tunes to take us into the wee small, first hours of 2001...
The Frames released their third and most acclaimed album so far, 'Dance The Devil', in June of last year. They have just completed work on their 4th album with Craig Ward (dEUS) in Ireland and Steve Albini in Chicago, the long-awaited results of which will be out very early in the new year. The Frames, who have long been one of the most popular bands in Ireland, continue to sell out every gig they play.
Running order for the evening which will alternate between stages:
Revelino Main Stage: 8.30-8.55
Mic Christopher Accoustic Stage 9.00-9.15
Relish 9.20 - 9.50
Gemma Hayes 9.55 - 10.20
BellX1 10.25 - 10.55
David Kitt 11.00 - 11.30
The Frames seeing in the new year from 11.40 til God knows when...
The Family DJ’s rounding off the evening’s entertainment, along with beer, balloons and dancing girls etc. etc...
