hi again. thought id just mail to say a quick few things which have arisen this past week...

1 as im sure a few of you will have noticed - the site is down at the moment... it still exists out there somewhere, but our server provider changed host servers and didnt tell us....we are currently trying to rectify the situation and it should be up and running within the next 24 hours... sorry for the break in service but normal activities will be resumed soon enough... from some of the mails ive been getting i feel that some of you are having withdrawl symptoms but dont fret...we will get there soon... oh, btw - when you do try and get on - id use the www.theframes.ie address, not the plateau one - it SHOULD be easier.

2 berny, finny and donal say hi to everyone from the czech republic - they would have said this via the site... but... we all know why they cant by now... the band have just been blown away by the reception that they have received in the cz and slovakia regions. the gig goers out there obviously know a good thing when they see it and have been quick to embrace them and write about them in national newspapers and have them on tv shows and all kinds of weird and wonderful things... i think it helps too when you can go for a quick stroll up the spectacular mountains on your day off and buy dinner for 12 people for £7... im sure we'll have more reports when they all get back. plateau records have just done a deal with archangel records who are putting the album out in the eastern european areas this week coming - so it all ties in very nicely and all left with big smiley faces :0)

3 competition in hot press... lots of you have asked who won and what was the winning caption - well i got this from hotpress which answers those q's - "We got absolutely loads of entries. A girl called Karen Kehoe won the competition. She lives in the UK She entered via the entry box in Tower Records. It was announced in Hot Press a few issues back - "you're lookin' badly drawn boy"

so congrats karen - dont know if youre on me list here but im sure youre having fun out there too...

4 galway bay cd thing that people have been asking about - got this news from hp too....
"Hot Press are doing a cover mounted CD in the next issue. It's the Undercurrents CD for Galway Bay FM. Glen is on it doing 'Your Face' recorded at the station" - so there ya go...

5 vinyl being liberated from customs at an exorbitant price on friday - so ill let all those that are interested know about how to get it soon - theyve gone up to £78 each... (only joking :0)

6 josh ritter. if you can - do yourself a favour and get out to see him on one of the following dates. i know this is a frames newsletter, but i really dont want people not knowing that jr is around til after the event and moaning that i didnt tell them....!!
