hope this finds you all in fine fettle.

i shall bash a quick one out while the d.u. is asleep. few things i guess i should be keeping you abreast of. sorry if ive been a tad slack on the newsletters recently but i just dont get the time i used to have pre baby and film-star-movie-pr schedule :0)

generally speaking, glens schedule is still dense with once pr to do from here til at least spring of next year. (i have come to the conclusion that he must have a twin or even a couple of twins, that he keeps in a closet and uses when he gets tired... i dont know how he keeps going) the month of october sees himself and marketa in france, the uk, belgium, spain, czech, japan all for film press and screenings. then they fly back to ireland where we have snuck a couple of frames shows in at the very end of october - then its back out for glen and mar to america and canada to tour as the swell season and stay on there to do more once press - and - i believe that as the dvd is scheduled for a 6th dec release (in the US at least), theres bound to be a bit more pr for that on top of whats already there...

theres talk too of oscar nominations and grammys and all manner of rather exciting stuff. all taken with a big pinch of salty 'keep your feet upon the ground' realism though, by our two main protagonists. its just whacky when al gore wants to hang out as do a few senators in new york, or interesting film roles get offered that you have to turn down cause youre too damned busy and you start recognizing a few famous heads in the crowds in front of you alongside the 'old' stalwarts and a rake of newbies... to be sure though, its a fantastic rollercoaster of a ride for all involved and has opened many new and interesting doors.

ive put all the ss dates on the list below and as you can see, the frames / john cale date in dublin is there too alongside the belfast opera house show. as its halloween, we should think of something to do competition wise and dressy up wise if youre into it...its possibly going to be the last frames show for a good while so i hope its going to be a good one.

congrats to soul engine. her design won our tshirt comp and we're making some up now as prizes for herself and to sell at the irish shows and online. it REALLY was a tough one to call as the entries were of such a high standard that we had to pick the 10 best ones and draw a winner from a hat. everyone always has different opinions on arty stuff and its hard to all agree on only one - but - we got there in the end, so congrats to you mrs! http://www.flickr.com/photos/soulengine/1005728966/

some other bits and bobs that you may or may not like to know... "Cultura" - Dutch digital channel, are going to rebroadcast "Vrije Geluiden; The Frames, It's Just a Band" so keep your eyes peeled if you want to watch that.

the filmed stuff at the metro gig in australia is going to be up on their site soon for those that are asking. check out www.metrotheatre.com.au for when exactly that goes up.
