A Statement from The Frames regarding North American tour dates…(posted August 3 2021)

Due to the ongoing concerns surrounding the pandemic The Frames regretfully have to announce the cancellation of their North American dates in New York, Chicago and at the Ohana Festival. Unfortunately complications with international travel restrictions and visas have made it impossible for the entirety of the band to enter into the U.S. to perform.

Our sincere apologies to the fans who made plans around these shows. We are gutted about having to cancel and we’ve explored every option in trying to make it work. However the goal posts keep changing leaving us with no other recourse but to cancel. We hope to make these shows work in the near future and look forward to seeing you all at that time.

In the meantime refunds for New York and Chicago can be had at the original point of purchase.

In light of this news, Ohana Festival has graciously extended an invitation for Glen Hansard, whom has been cleared for entry to perform this coming September. While this is a totally different thing to The Frames, Glen is excited to perform in the states for the first time in over two years.

Update on Dublin gig (posted March 15 2021):
So…third time lucky?  Our Dublin gig for this summer at Royal Hospital Kilmainham is yet again postponed, now to 28 May 2022. Previously purchased tickets remain valid. Of course none of us wanted to shift this again to the following year, but theres not a whole lot we can do about that…if you’re still able to come (and we do know too that end of May is maybe harder for some, but that’s the only time frame that we can have in Kilmainham for 2022)…then please do come and join us as we would love to share what will be our 32nd anniversary year with you all!  I reckon too, bring your hankies as there may be some spontaneous tears, general catharsis and emotional joyful outbursts soaring through us all if we are actually able to do the show……imagine it and it might just happen…..

Sat, May 28, 2022 . Dublin, IE – Royal Kilmainham Hospital (sold out – tickets from 2020/2021 still valid)

Update on Dublin gig from Claire (posted May 2020)

Thanks for bearing with us on this one, but unfortunately as I’m sure we could all foresee, we’ve no choice but to postpone the frames 30th and make it the frames 31st instead!! (hopefully!!!)

Oh my, I’m sure you’re all with me when I say that we all sincerely look very much forward to the time when we can gather and sing and dance and play music and generally enjoy each others company – you really don’t know what you got til its gone..
